Hello readers! This week I made some delicious garlic salt roasted chickpeas that I’m going to share with you! Chickpeas are a great energy snack and delightfully crunchy when roasted in the oven. I love making these up as they are so quick and easy, perfect for an afternoon snack or before a workout.
Chickpeas, also called garbanzo beans, are in the legume family and are full of helpful nutrients and health benefits.

Garlic Salt Roasted Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1/2 tbsp organic butter
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 15 oz. can of chickpeas (I used Simple Truth brand)
Instructions
- If you are using chickpeas from a can, like I did, drain the liquid from the can and allow the beans to dry. Next, in a mixing bowl, melt the butter and add the chickpeas. Stir until all the chickpeas are thoroughly coated. Add in the garlic salt and garlic powder. Mix until the chickpeas are well covered. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread the beans evenly over it.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake for 20 minutes, then stir. Bake for an additional 15 minutes with speed bake on.
